Hailey, Idaho – Marketron, a provider of business software
and services for the media industry, announced on Wednesday that it has
acquired mSnap, a mobile ad network focused on broadcast clients.

Financial
terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Idaho-based Marketron said the
deal will give it a mobile network with 30 million unique subscribers and 1,400
premium publishers that serves 250 million ads per month.

San Francisco-based
mSnap has raised at least $5 million since its founding in 2006, from investors
including Partech International.
