competitor to daily deals sites GroupOn and LivingSocial.

The site, Wow.com,
has begun the process of recruiting clients to offer locally and nationally
targeted offers.

"Wow provides you and your family with savings at your
favorite local and national locations each and every day," the company
wrote on the site.

"Eating, shopping, weekend outings — Wow offers things
you want and things you need at a price that makes sense for your on-the-go lifestyle."

AOL is pitching what it calls its "significantly greater audience reach
than other online coupon sites."
