New York – Callaway Digital Arts, a developer of lifestyle
and children’s applications for Apple’s iPad and iPhone, announced on Monday
that it has raised $6 million in its first round of funding, led by Kleiner
Perkins Caufield & Byers’ iFund.
Sherpalo Ventures founder Ram Shriram, and
Zynga founder and CEO Mark Pincus also participated in the round.
New
York-based Callaway also announced a deal with Martha Stewart, to publish the
interactive cooking app "Martha Stewart Makes Cookies" for iPad.
The
company has also developed "Miss Spider’s Tea Party" for iPad, based
on the children’s book.
