Seoul, South Korea – Samsung has sold 600,000 of its Galaxy
Tab tablet computers since the device went on sale last month, according to a
report in the Korean Herald. The iPad-challenger device has sold 30,000 units
to date in Samsung’s home base of South Korea, through partner SK Telecom. The
company in September projected sales of 1 million units for the full year. By
comparison, Apple has sold an estimated 7.5 million iPads since that device
went on sale in April.
