Las Vegas – CBS (NYSE: CBS) has announced plans to make full-length
episodes of its TV programs available for purchase on Boxee, the Web TV
software and complementary set-top box. CBS programs are still not available on
similar services such as Apple TV, reportedly because the company balked at
lowering the price of episode rentals from $1.99 to 99 cents.
