Cupertino, Calif. – Apple (NASD: AAPL) has dropped the price on its
iPhone 3GS to just $49, following a similar move by carrier partner AT&T (NYSE: T).
Wired notes that purchasers of the discounted iPhone 3GS will be tied to a
two-year contract with the device on AT&T’s network.
