Bethesda, Md. – Verve Wireless, the San Diego-based
developer of a mobile ad platform for local media, has named AOL veteran Tom
MacIsaac as its new CEO, based in the company’s new office in Bethesda, Md. MacIsaac,
most recently the CEO of ExtendMedia, will succeed co-founder Art Howe, who
will continue as chairman. Earlier, MacIsaac served as CEO of online video
advertising firm Lightningcast, then became the senior vice president of
strategy at AOL’s Advertising.com.
