New York – Comcast (NASD: CMCSA) and Time Warner (NYSE: TWX) on Tuesday announced a
deal whereby Time Warner will provide TV episodes and movies from its TBS
properties "shortly after initially airing" to Comcast’s Xfinity
"TV Everywhere" service. Xfinity will now offer Comcast cable
subscribers access to programs from TNT, TBS, CNN, HLN, truTV, Turner Classic
Movies, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim at no additional charge online, and via
Xfinity-branded iPad, iPhone and Android applications. Live TV streaming via
Xfinity is expected to be added later this year.

  1. That is a great idea of Comcast but they forgot to mention that you will only be able to watch the shows on your home wifi network. Comcast is currently not supporting the 3G network. I work and subscribe to DISH Network and I also use their Sling Adapter and it let’s me watch TV Everywhere, literally. This weekend, I will be working and I am still going to watch the game live, from my laptop, at work! I am so excited!
