Basking Ridge, N.J. – Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ) announced on Tuesday
that it will offer the forthcoming Motorola (NYSE: MOT) XOOM tablet for $600 with a
two-year service contract, or $800 without a contract when it begins offering
the device on Thursday. Data packages will begin a $20 per month for 1GB.
Verizon added that the 3G device will be upgradable to 4G LTE device at no
extra charge in the second quarter.
