San Francisco – Tiny Speck, a developer of online games
launched by Flickr co-founder Stewart Butterfield, has raised $10.7 million in
new funding, led by previous backers Andreessen Horowitz and Accel Partners.

San
Francisco-based Tiny Speck said that next week it will begin beta testing on
"Glitch," its first multiplayer online game.

"This new
investment allows us to move even faster in creating a game-world like no
other, to continue building the powerful tech infrastructure underneath it all,
and to build out the services to support our ever growing player base,"
Butterfield wrote on the company’s blog.
