Los Angeles – Disney’s (NYSE: DIS) ABC News has hired AOL (NYSE: AOL) veteran Joe
Ruffolo to serve as its new senior vice president of ABC News Digital,
PaidContent reports. Ruffolo was previously vice president of AOL.com and head
of current programming. He replaces Paul Slavin, who left last week after
heading the unit since 2007.
