San Francisco – Major U.S. retailers have begun selling
Nintendo’s Wii console for $169, down from $199, as recent reports have
indicated the company plans to cut the console’s price to $149 next month, CNET
News.com reported. The reduced price is on offer at GameStop, Best Buy,
Amazon.com, Wal-Mart and Target, among other retailers. The company is also
rumored to be preparing to introduce a new HD game console, which could be
available next year.
