New York – Magazine publisher Conde Nast on Monday
introduced its first iPad subscription plan, for its New Yorker magazine, which
will be available on the device for $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year. The
publisher plans to release iPad versions of its Vanity Fair, Glamour, Golf Digest,
Allure, Self, GQ and Wired magazines in coming weeks. Existing print
subscribers will receive free access to the new digital editions.
