Los Angeles – Nearly half of all young Swedes use European streaming music service Spotify, as do more than one in five amongst the general population, according to a survey of 1,400 Swedes conducted by TNS Sifo, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Spotify generally is used by 22% of Sweden’s citizens, and by 46% of Swedes under the age of 35 — which, for young people, eclipses the 38% who say they listen to commercial terrestrial radio stations.
Traditional radio still attracts 72% of Sweden’s general population, the report found.
