Seattle – Amazon.com (NASD: AMZN) has hired former Time Warner Publishing Group CEO and literary agent Larry Kirshbaum to head a new general trade imprint, PaidContent reports.

The imprint will release titles in both print and digital formats across literary and commercial fiction, business and general nonfiction.

Kirshbaum, who will serve as vice president and publisher of Amazon Publishing, told Publishers Marketplace the imprint will be operated “in the vein of a major publishing house.”
