San Mateo, Calif. – 4Info, a San Mateo-based developer of mobile advertising technology, said on Thursday it has raised $14 million in a new round from Paul Allen’s Vulcan Capital, Mitsui Global Investment and previous backers Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Gannett, Mezzanine Capital and U.S. Venture Partners.

The company will use the proceeds to expand its newly formed AdHaven division, which offers a mobile audience platform.

“It is time for the mobile advertising industry to catch up with the targeting and data capabilities that media buyers demand from online advertising,” said Zaw Thet, the CEO of 4Info. “This is the future of mobile.”
