Vevo’s original series GO Shows, which features live performances by surprise artists, has struck a sponsorship deal with Starburst that will make the program available exclusively at the candy’s Facebook page for its first 24 hours.

The agreement runs for eight shows in 2012. It begins Jan. 12 with a Demi Lovato show that was filmed in Atlanta just before her regularly scheduled Dec. 1 concert. Lovato (pictured) arrived early on the back of a flatbed truck and entertained the fans queuing up to get inside by performing her hit single “Give Your Heart a Break.”

As is the typical format for GO Shows, that performance is put together with additional content like exclusive photos, behind-the-scenes footage and archival material. After that it will be available  at Vevo.com and via all of Vevo’s distribution partners, which include YouTube.

Having launched in 2009, previously featured artists on GO Shows include Kid Cudi, The Airborne Toxic Event, Daddy Yankee, Nelly, J. Cole, Big Sean, Fabolous and Weezer.

Starburst is a Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. brand. Wrigley is headquartered in Chicago and operates as a subsidiary of Mars Inc.
