NBCUniversal’s Integrated Media group has expanded its senior leadership team by creating four new positions under the leadership of John Shea, who recently joined NBCUniversal as chief marketing officer and executive vice president of Integrated Media.

Integrated Media is a content, research, and sales marketing group that spearheads multi-platform deals across the NBCUniversal portfolio. Rather than be organized by media type, the group is structured in a way that enables it to target audiences under umbrellas like Green Is Universal, Healthy at NBCU, Hispanics at NBCU and Women at NBCU.

Hilary Smith (pictured) is now senior vice president, Communications and Integrated Media Marketing. As part of her expanded responsibilities, Smith will be an overall strategist in the Integrated Media group and will oversee consumer and trade marketing, including events, sponsorships, and external partnerships. Smith was previously senior vice president, Communications, NBCUniversal Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media (E&DN/IM). She reports to Shea, as well as to Nick Lehman, president of Digital, NBCUniversal E&DN/IM and Cameron Blanchard, executive vice president of Communications, NBCUniversal E&DN/IM.

Bari Komitee has been promoted to vice president, Marketing and Events, Integrated Media, reporting to Smith. In this new role, Komitee will lead trade and consumer marketing. She was previously Director, Women at NBCU, Integrated Media, and joined NBCUniversal having worked at Anomaly, Naked Communications and TBWA/Chiat/Day.

Lenore Moritz has been elevated to vice president, Communications, Integrated Media and iVillage. She now has communications responsibility for iVillage, leading all press outreach, media relations strategy and employee communications, in addition to leading communications for Integrated Media. Moritz co-reports to Smith and Jodi Kahn, president of iVillage. Prior to joining NBCUniversal in Spring 2011, Moritz was with Dan Klores Communications and also started the Mom Culture blog.

Craig Coleman has been promoted to vice president, Partnership Marketing, Integrated Media, in which role he will direct the development and implementation of integrated ad sales marketing programs for advertisers across multiple NBCUniversal platforms. He will report to Shea. Coleman was most recently director of Marketing, Green is Universal, Healthy at NBC and Hispanics at NBCU for Integrated Media. Before joining NBCUniversal in 2010, Coleman was at Nicktoons Network.

“These four professionals bring the limitless creativity and strategic thinking that is so essential to effectively bringing to life the cross-portfolio partnerships we develop, both internally and externally,” said Shea. “In my short time at NBCUniversal, Integrated Media has experienced tremendous momentum, having completed numerous major cross platform deals for clients and with several more in the pipeline. I am incredibly impressed with this group, and am confident that we have the right senior team in place to build on this success, and take the business to the next level.”

NBCUniversal’s Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media division is comprised of television and digital brands including Telemundo, mun2, Bravo Media, Oxygen Media, Style, Sprout, TV One, iVillage, DailyCandy, and Fandango. Additionally, the group includes Integrated Media, which spearheads the company-wide initiatives Green is Universal, Healthy at NBCU, Hispanics at NBCU and Women at NBCU.
