Millions more will be able to play the freemium game Marvel Super Hero Squad Online, following the expansion of the kids’ MMO into Spanish and Portuguese.
Gazillion Entertainment, which developed and published the game, said it welcomes players in countries where those are the primary languages (with the exception of Spain, presumably due to licensing matters). John Needham, CEO of Gazillion Entertainment, said these were important markets that he was excited about enterting.
“Every child, no matter the language they speak, has dreamed of being a Super Hero, fighting for good and saving the day,” Needham said. “Marvel Super Hero Squad Online allows them that opportunity.”
Marvel Super Hero Squad Online allows children to play as their favorite Marvel heroes, interact with other players, explore Marvel Universe locations, and use their super powers to save the world from Doctor Doom and the Lethal Legion.
