Jet Li has signed up to be the international face Snail Game’s Age of Wushu, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that already has 20 million players in China alone. Snail Games is giving E3 attendees an early look at the North American version, which is set to launch later this year.
Besides being a world-famous action film star, Li has won numerous awards in the Wushu style of martial arts, making him a particularly credible spokesperson for the game.
Li returns to the big screen this August in The Expendables 2 with Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis. That quintet from the first of the series is joined by Chuck Norris, Jean Claude Van Damme and Liam Hemsworth for the sequel.
