Los Angeles – At its E3 Expo press conference on Monday, Microsoft introduced a new lineup of games for its Kinect motion-sensing controller, and said it planned to release “Halo 4” in the fall of 2012, according to Wired’s coverage of the event.

In addition, Microsoft said that gamers will be able to watch live TV on the Xbox 360, and use the device’s hard drive as a digital video recorder to record television programming.

Also coming to Xbox Live will be videos from YouTube, and Bing search.

New games for Kinect include “Kinect Star Wars” — where players swing their arms to control lightsabers — and “Disneyland Adventures,” which provides a virtual tour of the theme park.
