Gizmodo has posted photos and details about what it says is Apple’s (NASD:  AAPL) next
iPhone, the 4G, that its parent company Gawker Media reportedly purchased from
someone who found it on the floor in a bar in Redwood City, California.
Apple is expected to release its next iPhone model this summer, and if the
device obtained by Gizmodo is the real deal, the 4G iPhone will include a
front-facing video chat camera; improved still camera with flash; micro-SIM
card; improved display; a possible secondary mic for noise cancellation; and
new, metallic buttons for volume, power and mute.

Gizmodo, which disassembled
the purported new iPhone, also reports that the battery will be 16% larger, and
that the housing abandons the curved edges of previous iPhone models for a
flatter, squarer design.
