Cupertino,
Calif.
– Apple (NASD: AAPL) has filed patent
infringement claims against Kodak (NYSE: EK) over digital photography patents, following
two patent claims lodged by Kodak against Apple back in January.

The U.S.
International Trade Commission (USITC) also in February launched a probe into
whether Apple — and BlackBerry maker RIM — are infringing on Kodak’s patents
with their mobile phone cameras.

Apple’s lawsuit against Kodak, which concerns
two of its patents, was filed in federal court in California last Thursday.
