San Jose, Calif. — Apple released a new application for iPad and iPhone users that will enable them to stream live performances from the iTunes Festival London 2011.
The 9.7MB, free software is available to iOS devices — requiring the mobile or tab-like gadgets to have a iOS 4.1 or better running system
“Download the official app now to explore the lineup in more detail and watch the shows LIVE or on demand for a limited period from wherever you are in the world,” Apple wrote of the application. “You can even invite your friends to watch on the big screen with AirPlay support for streaming the gigs to your Apple TV.”
This year’s performances will include over 62 bands over 31 nights in London, Eng. Artists such as Coldplay, Adele, My Chemical Romance and the Foo Fighters are just a few of highlighted performers.
