Newburyport, Mass. – Where Inc., a location-based mobile
advertising company, announced on Monday that it has acquired LocalGinger, a provider
of group-buying services in local markets.
Terms were not disclosed.
Using
LocalGinger, consumers benefit by receiving special offers from local
merchants.
"With the LocalGinger platform, Where Ads bridges a gap between
services like Groupon and AdSense," said Walt Doyle, CEO of Where.
"Combining
these services supports our mission of delivering relevant and valuable content
to the Where audience as well as the audience of our publisher partners."
