Los Angeles – Robin Kent, the
former CEO of ad-supported music download service SpiralFrog and current consultant
to ad-supported peer-to-peer download service Qtrax, has ended his relationship
with Qtrax after three years, Digital Music News reported.
Kent
left SpiralFrog in 2006, before the company that had raised millions folded,
only to join Qtrax and witness the company bungle a licensing announcement with
the major labels, and miss a number of launch dates. Kent told CNET his new ventures
won’t involve digital music.
