Washington, DC – Google is the most popular technology company in the U.S., beating out other tech heavyweights such as Apple and Facebook, according to a new ABC News/Washington Post poll.
Eighty-two percent of the more than 1,000 adults polled had a favorable opinion of Google, including 53 percent who felt “strongly” about their opinion.
That compared with 74 percent favorable for Apple (37 percent strongly), 58 percent for Facebook (23 percent strongly) and just 34 percent for Twitter (8 percent strongly).
Both Google and Apple fared particularly well among the young, highly educated and affluent. Complete poll results are available below the chart.
