Cambridge, England – Jagex, a U.K.-based online game
developer and publisher, announced on Tuesday that it has raised an undisclosed
amount of new funding from Insight Venture Partners, Spectrum Equity Investors
and The Raine Group.
Founded in 2001, Cambridge, England-based Jagex operates
titles including its flagship "RuneScape," a massively multiplayer
online game, as well as a range of third-party titles.
The company will use the
funds to accelerate growth of its development and publishing capabilities.
